Dr. Daniel Helgerman recently joined the Lake Meridian Chiropractic team after practicing upper cervical chiropractic in Chicago. He is native to Pennsylvania and resided there until he completed his bachelors degree in Theology, Philosophy, and Religions. Initially he was planning to work in the mental health field, but in the final months of completing his degree he sustained a shoulder injury while wrestling that severely limited his ability to exercise or enjoy his favorite activities.
Through this injury, Dr. Helgerman learned firsthand how debilitating an injury can be to one’s quality of life and happiness. After discovering how effective chiropractic was in his own process of recovery, Dr. Helgerman decided to switch career paths and become a chiropractor to offer the same wonderful gift of healing to others.
Dr. Helgerman completed his doctorate at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia where he specialized in upper cervical techniques and went on to further his studies under Dr. Roy Sweat, the founder of the Atlas Orthogonal instrument and technique.
Dr. Helgerman is new to the Pacific Northwest and is excited to live in an area with so many opportunities for outdoor recreation. His favorite hobbies include hiking, biking, camping, and music.
