Dr. Claire Russell is a native of Edmonds, WA. As a teenager, she was introduced to chiropractic when her mother brought her to an Atlas Orthogonal chiropractor. This experience shaped her ideas about the possibilities of healing through chiropractic. She loved this doctor’s approach and due to his influence, as well as her interest in learning about the human body, she decided to focus her undergraduate studies on pre-chiropractic at Western Washington University.
She subsequently attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she also focused on studying the Atlas Orthogonal technique. She was fortunate enough to do an internship with Dr. Roy Sweat in Atlanta, GA, who is the founder of the Atlas Orthogonal (AO) technique. Dr. Russell has recently earned her board certification in Atlas Orthogonal.
She is happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest serving patients and sharing a love for Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, especially trying new recipes, doing art projects and watching old films.
